            Bhadrachalam Division, the  North most Division of Andhra Pradesh belongs to Khammam District in the Northern Andhra Deccan Plateau. It spreads over eight Mandals i.e., Wazeedu, Venkatapuram, Cherla, Dummugudem, Bhadrachalam, Kunavaram, V.R.Puram and Chintoor,  and five hundred and sixty eight revenue villages. It is bounded on the West and South by Godavari River, East by East Godavari District of A.P State and North by Chathisgarh district of Orissa State.
